 Education is a powerful tool in helping you stay healthy. At each of the five CHSA clinics, an education specialist is available to help you learn all you can. The most common topics include chronic illness, family planning, STD awareness, and diabetes information for the patient and their family.
We also take our knowledge to the community by providing free presentations to schools, community organizations, and through health fairs. Annual health fairs include Cinco de Mayo celebrations, Juneteenth celebrations, National Community Health Center week in August, and breast and cervical cancer awareness in October. If your organization would like to receive a presentation please contact the CHSA social worker at the Administration office
